Q :Can we perform multiple crush tests using Presto Digital cum Computerized crush tester?
A :Yes, this digital cum computerized model is capable of conducting three essential types of crush tests: Ring Crush (RCT), Edge Crush (ECT), and Flat Crush (FCT). It adheres to established industry standards for each of these tests. This makes it highly suitable for testing laboratory environments where precision and accuracy are essential.
Q :How the quality of a corrugated fiberboard (CFB) box is determined using the ECT Tester?
A :The ECT value obtained through testing with the ECT Tester reflects the rigidity of the CFB box. This value can be used to compare the quality of different CFB boards. Moreover, it's possible to determine the compression strength of the CFB box using McKee's formula: Compression Strength = K * ECT * T * Z Where: K = Constant ECT = Edge Crush Test Value T = Thickness of CFB board (wall thickness) Z = Perimeter of the box (2 L + 2 W)
